I think I was probably inspired to get involved in radio by listening to Pirate Radio in my teens. I started broadcasting on Radio Enfield on the very first day back in May 1970 but I left at the end of 1974 as I went to live in West Norfolk. I didn't lose my interest in Radio though and quickly joined a new Hospital Radio station in Kings Lynn, where I continued to broadcast for many years until I returned to live in Hertfordshire. In 2009 I rejoined Radio Enfield, which later became Royal Free Radio, and I have been here ever since.
